Juliet (Calapan)- Pres.

Presenting to you the elected officers of United Mindoro International, Inc. for 2007-2008....


Juliet Anonuevo Payabyab(Calapan)  is one of the incorporators and was its first president  16 years ago.  She now calls herself  a "recyled" president having been recently elected again to the same position. 

Rose (Bongabong) - VP

Rose Pantoja Javier (Bongabong) ,  a well-recognized community leader in New Jersey, has served in various capacities in Fil-am civic organizations. In addition , she was recently elected as Vice President of our asso.  Rose is a pro in the Entertainment World considering her wide experiences in meeting and handling top actors and actresses in the Phil. during big entertainment events in New Jersey.

Tawel (Lubang-Looc) - VP

Tawel Abeleda (Lubang-Looc) is one of the 3 incorporators of our asso., the United Mindoro International, Inc.  Needless to say, he has been a big support for the last 16 years. He is still the same jolly Mindoreno from Occidental Mindoro.

Mercy (Pinamalayan) - Sec.

Mercy Pastrana Mosley (Pinamalayan) is a dedicated full-time Mom of 4 kids.  Her passion of helping the community can be traced back as far as 20 years ago.  Always smiling and never tired, Mercy sets aside time to attend to our meetings and activities. 

Ellen (San Teodoro) - Treasurer

Ellen Vasquez Cordova (San Teodoro), a single mother, became the happiest Mom in the world at her daughter's wedding.  Now that her two daughters are on their own, she uses her free time in serving the community.  Ellen "guards" our financials in her capacity as Treasurer.

Rick (Calapan) - Auditor

Rick Agay (Calapan) or Totoy to us is another smiley face in our group.  Always vibrant, Rick manages his time very well between being a father and a husband.  His answer is always "yes" when called to attend to a meeting or when asked to do a job for the asso. But be careful because behind that smiley face is a strict Auditor (so we are extra careful with our reports :)

Lillian Bago Aceron (Bulalacao) - PRO

Lillian Bago Aceron (Bulalacao) or Lily to some is our PRO.  Make no mistake in dealing with her, she can turn a "no" to a "yes". She is committed to bring the non-smiling faces to smiley faces.  "Be happy, don't worry " is what she always says to all of us.

Feliciana Dakis Drefus (Calapan) Director

Feliciana Dakis Drefus (Calapan) or Felicing or Feliz is one and the same woman to all of us.  Another happy face, Feliz is the master chef in the group.  Name it, she can cook it.  After so much convincing, she finally agreed to be one of our directors.  This picture was taken when she said "yes"....just kidding !

Willie Adeva - Director

Willie Adeva (Calapan) is the gentleman and rich-looking guy from Calapan.  Inspite of distance between New York and Piscataway where he lives, he makes sure that he comes to significant events with his family in tow.  A very dedicated father, Willie enjoys life by keeping in mind that life goes on, no matter what !  He is another director in our group.

Ben Abao (Bongabong) Adviser

Ben Abao (Bongabong),  a lawyer by profession, owns and operate his own mortgage company in Jersey City.  He is currently the president of New Jersey Chamber of Commerce.  We turn to Ben for guidance when in doubt.  His positive outlook in life brings sunshine all the time.

Andrea Amparo Mahiya (Baco) Adviser

Andrea Amparo Mahiya (Baco) or Andeng to some is the mother of 3 lovely daughters.  Still not a "Lola", she devotes her time in prayer groups and supporting ministries here and in the Philippines.  Recently widowed, Andeng finds consolation in seeing fellow Mindorenos like us.  Andeng and her late husband, Terry, were our long-time advisers since incorporation days of our asso.

Aida Mercado Abas (Bongabong) Director

Aida Mercado Abas (Bongabong) is the friendly type of person.  Now a "Lola", she enjoys minding the little ones on her free time.  A saleswoman at best, Aida brings her sales of Townecraft cookware to the top all the time. Always on the go, she makes sure that her schedules would include the asso.'s events & meetings.

Alvin Saulong (Bongabong) Director

Blame it to his "lahi", Alvin Saulong (Bongabong)  inherits having white /gray hair at a young age.  While focusing on his construction business and frequent trips  to the Phil. , he still finds time to call and check out his responsibilities to the asso.  

Wil Saulong (Bongabong) Director

Wilfredo Saulong (Bongabong) , or Wil for short, is a retired young man from the Immigration and Naturalization office in New York.  With his education and background in handling local governments projects while still in the Phil., the asso. gains from his  unselfish dedication to serve as a director. He was recently featured in the website under Special People.
