It was an instant gathering at the Star Cafe !   Attended by Gabby Alberto, Jorge Bajado, Dante Lumpas, Tambell Ramos, Fely Olympia, Medelyn Cantos Catly, Eva Leuterio, Clara Magtibay, Rory Arellano, and visiting Juliet Anonuevo, it became not only a mini-mini reunion but also a birthday celebration for Jorge.  He was surprised to see a birthday cake on the table when he entered Star Cafe.  Taadah...Happy Birthday, Jorge !

So much laughter and recollections of our Feb. reunion at El Pueblo.  They miss us, the US-based classmates and they hope to see us again soon.

In coordination with the upcoming Balik Mindoro 09, those who will be available on Feb. 21 are invited to join a mini-lunch reunion for our Batch 64.  Time and venue will be announced later as Fely Lano will be looking for the right place.  So if you are reading this note and if you are available, please connect with Fely Lano, Medelyn Cantos or Sol Abao.

Delia Saporna and husband, Pete Dumana was treated to an almost whole day of fun at the residence of Dean and Edna Yambao.  Delia and Pete went to the US for a visit to Las Vegas, LA and New York last Sept. In NY, they were met by Aida Samala Uybarreta who hosted one lunch for Delia and Pete.  Invited were Feliz Dakis and husband, Bob Dreyfus and Juliet Payabyab.

Hello, from Medilyn !

Oct. 19, 2008 - Juliet spoke to Medilyn today and she is sending hello to all her classmates here. She is now employed at the provincial capitol office of special projects under Mayor Doy Leachon.  Congratulations, Medilyn !

Hello, from Reynosa !

April 10 -
From Toronto, Reynosa Infantado is saying "hello" to all of us.  She misses our classmates per Reynosa.  Juliet and Nini (Reynosa) had an hour talk last week and then again, the other day.

April 11 -  Emily is now updated with the happy memories we had last February during our reunion.  She plans to come next year in February to join the global Mindoro reunion and our Batch 64 second reunion.

Hello, classmates !  Hope all is well with you there.  Dito naman, patuloy kaming nagkikita kita tulad ni Tessie Saguid, Linda Guevarra at ni Zoraida or Rhoda.  Me planong mini-reunion sa Pto. Galera next month so baka matuloy ito. Si Gabby ang in charge.  Me sad news tungkol ke Rosalina Lumpas.  Manny, her husband, passed away while visiting in Dubai.  Remember she just lost her son last year to an accident. Let's send condolences with prayers to our dear classmate, Nene. Kumusta sa lahat dyan.

Vangie Montales - 60th birthday

Happy Birthday to Vangie Montales who just celebrated her 60th birthday.  Classmates who were able to attend her special celebration were Gabby and Chit Alberto, Mike and Lilia Cardino and Roger Casanova.   Sol Abao forgot all about it (translation, nakalimot, senior moments), Delia was in Vigan (translation, naglakwatsa) , Vilma took care of her Mom that day (gustung-gustong pumunta pero priority si Nanay siempre) and...more news to come.
